Hunan Yutu Titanium Industry New Material Co., Ltd., formerly known as Hunan Chuangda Yutu Chemical Co., Ltd., evolved from the restructuring and restructuring of the original Hengyang Titanium Dioxide Plant, which was established in 1974. As one of the earliest professional manufacturers of titanium dioxide in China, it has a history of producing titanium dioxide for 50 years. As early as the 1980s, the "Yutu" brand titanium dioxide powder was rated as the standard sample of similar products by the Ministry of Chemical Industry for three consecutive times. The "Yutu" brand trademark has high awareness and reputation in the international and domestic markets. The company has a registered capital of 280 million yuan, covers an area of 338 acresand has 496 employees .

In order to realize the leap forward development of the company, the company started the relocation and reconstruction project in May 2021. After more than two years of intense construction, the company will build a 120000 t/a sulfuric acid rutile titanium dioxide project in Hengyang Changning Shuikoushan Economic Development Zone in July 2023. On July, it was put into production and successfully produced qualified products.

With the mission of "developing circular economy and building a green Ecotype enterprise", the company uses the most advanced domestic clean coproduction sulfuric acid process and the most advanced equipment at home and abroad to produce titanium dioxide. Relying on the abundant by-product sulfuric acid of the copper, lead and zinc industry in the park, and the ability of the park to comprehensively utilize the by-products Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate and titanium gypsum, the company has formed a complete "sulfur titanium iron calcium" circular economy industrial chain, achieved waste treatment and comprehensive utilization of resources, and improved economic and environmental benefits. The company has a high-quality engineering and technical talent with years of experience in titanium dioxide production, as well as a highly skilled workforce from various titanium dioxide manufacturers across the country. This has laid a solid foundation for the company to produce high-quality products.

The company plans to spend another three years striving to achieve a production capacity of 150000 tons per year.
